State police say they have charged a Canton woman with two separate incidents they say involved the theft of more than $100,000 in property.

Peggy A. Lapoint, 58, was charged with two counts of second-degree grand larceny at 9:05 a.m. Friday.

State police say she allegedly stole more than $50,000 in separate Potsdam and Gouverneur incidents.

The charges stem from incidents reported at 11:22 a.m. June 4, police said.

A state police blotter entry contained no other details.

She was arraigned and released to a third party, according to troopers.
