CANTON -- The Canton Neighborhood Center, a program of the St. Lawrence County Community Development Program, received a grant in the amount of $1,000 from the Northern New York Community Foundation Inc. recently.
This grant helped purchase food from Food Bank of Central New York and Save A Lot in Canton, which was utilized to assist with an additional child-friendly food package for families over the summer months.
The Canton Neighborhood Center served a total of 108 children for July and August.
