CANTON – A Canton man who allegedly ran his motorcycle into the downtown municipal building Tuesday is facing several charges.
Randy Bouchey, 59, of Buck Street, was charged by Canton police with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unregistered motor vehicle, uninspected motor vehicle, speed not reasonable and prudent, failure to keep right, and failure to notify DMV of a change in his address.
When police arrived they found him trying to restart his motorcycle and exhibiting signs of apparent injury, described by police as “road rash” and a swollen and scraped ankle. When EMT’s arrived, he reportedly refused treatment.
Police said they asked him to reveal what looked like a bottle under his shirt, and he produced an unopened bottle of tequila.
A witness reportedly told police Bouchey was turning right quickly from Main Street onto Miner Street, crossed over the centerline and hit the curb.
