The Tedra Cobb for Congress campaign became the first to begin airing television ads in advance of the Democratic Primary June 26.
The ad, titled “Fight to Fix,” was produced by 76 Words, a Democratic political consulting firm.
The campaign is spending nearly $200,000 for placement on TV stations in all three media markets in New York’s 21st District as well as on cable.
Cobb’s campaign says the ad focuses on her background in health care and her personal struggles with rising costs.
“I started a nonprofit that helped thousands of northern New Yorkers get healthcare, but when my daughter, Aida, was diagnosed with a preexisting condition, the fight for health care became personal,” Cobb says in the ad.
