There are still no confirmed cases of coronavirus in St. Lawrence County, despite a report from the governor's office stating differently, county Public Health Director Dana Olzenak-McGurire said
The confusion is due to an outdated address. She said the positive result was for someone who has an address listed as living in St. Lawrence County, but no longer resides here.
Some media outlets have reported a positive case came from here, but that information was inaccurate as of 12:26 p.m. March 22.
Olzenak-McGuire said she is working with the state to correct that information.
She said no testing done in St. Lawrence County has yielded a positive result yet, but is expecting to have some updated testing numbers later today.
