BRASHER FALLS — Elementary school students from Brasher Falls Central will join state Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) officer to stock lake sturgeon in the St. Regis River.
This will take place today, Oct. 12, at 1:15 p.m. at Jellybean’s Riverside Campground, 7 St. Regis Rd.
The event includes activities to educate the children on the historical relevance and importance of lake sturgeon in New York State waters. Each child will have the opportunity to release a fish into the water.
