The National Weather Service predicts alternating periods of showers and sunny skies in St. Lawrence County through Sunday.
Meterologists say Wednesday night will bring mostly cloudy skies followed by 20 percent chances of showers with lows around 51.
Thursday brings up to 50 percent chances of showers followed by a clear night. Highs are predicted around 66 and lows around 42.
Friday is expected to have sunny skies with highs around 69 and a 60 percent chance of showers at night with temperatures dropping to around 56.
Saturday brings a 40 percent chance of daytime showers with a partly cloudy night. Temperatures are forecast to reach highs around 71 and lows around 54.
Sunday is predicted to be mostly sunny with highs around 70.
The detailed forecast for St. Lawrence County:
Wednesday Night - A slight chance of showers before 8pm, then a slight chance of showers after 3am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 51. Northeast wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Thursday - A 50 percent chance of showers, mainly before noon. Cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 66. Northeast wind 7 to 10 mph.
Thursday Night - Clear, with a low around 42. East wind around 7 mph.
Friday - Sunny, with a high near 69. Southeast wind 5 to 9 mph.
Friday Night - Showers likely, mainly after 2am. Increasing clouds, with a low around 56. South wind 11 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Saturday - A 40 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 71. South wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
