Just about 40 seconds later, Taussig caused Melissa Moore to turn the ball over above the arc, picked up the ground ball and fired a shot past goaltender Sarah Honan to give the Saints a 3-2 lead heading into the locker room.

The Saints extended their lead to 4-2 early in the second half as Mitiguy scored off the opening draw control. William Smith added nine goals in the second half to remain undefeated in conference play.
