Annandale-On-Hudson, NY – SUNY Canton sophomore Antanasia Chambers tallied her eighth double-double of the season as the women's basketball team earned a 71-63 non-conference road win on Tuesday evening at Bard College.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Chambers posted a team-high 21 points to go with game-highs of 13 rebounds, seven steals and four assists. It was her fourth double-double in her last five games. Breanna Cullers recorded 15 points and Jenifer Morgan-Aubin came up one point short of a double-double with nine points and 12 boards. Tyberia Wallace also chipped in nine points.
The Roos jumped out to an 11-8 lead after the opening quarter. However, Bard used a 15-5 run to take a 23-16 advantage with 3:07 remaining in the first half. Canton closed the final 2:55 on a 15-0 run to take an eight-point lead (31-23) into intermission.
Chambers posted 12 first-half points, while Wallace added seven. Christina Kiser tossed in 10 for the Raptors.
Both teams hit the 20 point mark in the third quarter as the Roos took a seven point lead into the final quarter.
The Roos led 60-52 but the Raptors responded with a 7-0 run to get within one with 3:50 to play. Canton rattled off six straight points to open up a 66-59 lead and seal the win.
Christina Kiser, an eight-time Liberty League Rookie of the Week this season, led all players with 38 points and added 10 rebounds for the Raptors. Jess Rylander totaled 12 points and Katie Esposito finished with eight points and 13 rebounds for the hosts.
The Roo reserves outscored their counterparts, 18-2, which proved to be a major difference in the outcome.

The women's basketball team closes out its regular season with a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) series v. NVU-Lyndon on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and 3 p.m., respectively.
