Gretchen Braun of Lisbon won first place overall in her 8 and Under age group at the Adirondack Long Course Swimming Championship July 22 to 24, at Colgate University in Hamilton.
During Day 3 Gretchen broke the 1993 8 and Under Adirondack Long Course Resident and District Record for the 100 LCM freestyle by almost two seconds with the time of 1:18.43.
After the race she said, "I'm tired but happy!"
Gretchen set five other Northern TRIBS club records in the 50 backstroke, 50 breaststroke, 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle and 200 freestyle. (Photo by Jessica Smith)
