State police Saturday: Contraband charge at Ogdensburg prison, charges in Norfolk domestic incident

A Rochester woman is accused of a felony contraband charge in Ogdensburg Saturday, among other actions reported in the daily blotter for State Police Troop B Zone 2.

Cherise F. McFarland, 30, Rochester was charged Saturday morning at Ogdensburg Correctional Facility with first-degree introducing dangerous contraband in a prison, a felony, and a misdemeanor count of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

State police reported her status as “held.”

Timothy L. Thomas, 46, Massena, was reportedly held by state police after he was charged with second-degree unlawful imprisonment and fourth-degree criminal mischief, both misdemeanors, after troopers responded to a report of a domestic incident in Norfolk at around noon Saturday.

Andrew Mason, 44, Brier Hill, was arrested by state police in Ogdensburg Saturday evening and charged with second-degree criminal trespass for an incident reported to troopers July 28. He was issued an appearance ticket.

Sean M. Coon, 31, Tupper Lake, was in a one-vehicle personal injury accident on Oswegatchie Trail Road near Sucker Lake Road in Fine at about 5:45 p.m. Saturday, state police said. One person was reported injured, but the extent of injuries was not released.

Eric N. McComber, 21, Kahawake, Que., was charged by state police at 8:10 p.m. Saturday with unlawful possession of marijuana at the international bridge in Massena. He was issued an appearance ticket. Troopers say their investigation is pending
