CANTON — A Rensselaer Falls woman was arrested on grand larceny charges after allegedly stealing from her employer over several months, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.

Crystal P. Burnor, 21, was charged with third-degree grand larceny, felony, Thursday stemming from a complaint made to deputies June 13, officers said.

The alleged theft took place at Washburn’s General Store, 102 Canton St., deputies said.

Burnor reportedly stole $5,766.99 out of the cash reviser over a period of time, officers said.

She was released under the supervision of probation, deputies said.
