Potsdam police charge four motorists with driving infractions

POTSDAM — Potsdam police said they charged several motorists with driving infractions on Thursday. Those charged included:

• Kevin R. Caskinett, 58, Potsdam, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and operating a motor vehicle while using a portable electronic device at 9:30 a.m.

• Ashli E. Benard, 22, Potsdam, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance following a psychiatric investigation on Leroy Street at 10:16 a.m. She was allegedly in possession of a small amount of cocaine.

• Adam M. Osarczuk, 22, Bating Hollow, and Gregory M. Trent, 21, Riverhead, were cited for no seat belts on Main Street at 2:36 p.m.

• Lee Ann Fuchs, 19, Morris, was charged with failure to yield right-of-way to a pedestrian on Clarkson Avenue at 9:41 p.m.

All of the above subjects were cited and released.
