• Caller reports someone is attempting to break into her residence on Paterson Street at 11:50 a.m. Police report that caller wanted subject to leave. Police transported subject to his residence.

• Report from Stewart’s employee that a woman in a black coat and no shirt attempted to steal before being confronted and fleeing the scene on foot at 8:33 p.m. No violation of the law.

• James R. McLean was arrested on a bench warrant at 7:40 p.m. on Paterson Street for violating probation. Original charges were related to drugs. He was held pending arraignment.

• Report of a needle near Ford and Elizabeth streets at 6:16 p.m. Police secured the needle.

• Report from caller who found a deer leg on her porch at 5:22 p.m. at Belmont Courts. Complain on file.

• Report from motorcyclist that he lost his plates. Incident report filed.

• Needle found and secured on New York Avenue at 3:14 p.m.

• Nelson H. Bogart was arrested on a warrant at 3:04 p.m. for forcible touching. He was arraigned by Judge Gebo and released on his own recognizance with a no harass order issued.

• Needle found and secured at the Ford Street laundromat at 2:35 p.m.

• Report of a structure fire at 709 Hamilton St. at 11:30 a.m.

• Jordan Compo was arrested for petit larceny at 10:46 a.m.

• Robert H. Johnson Jr., was arrested on bench warrant for third-degree burglary at 10:22 a.m.

• Report at 9:16 a.m. of a female harboring a farm animal at her residence on Washington Street. Police spoke to male who stated the animal is no longer there. Police advised the subject that they are not allowed to harbor farm animals.

• Burglar alarm activation at Tractor Supply on Park Street at 6:06 a.m. False alarm.
