• Commercial burglar alarm at Stewart’s on Ford Street at 11:46 p.m. Alarm set off because male subject was sleeping behind the dumpster. No violation of the law.

• Reports of caution lights not working at intersection of Canton and State streets. Police left message for DOT.

• Report of possible capsized vessel near Ogdensburg at 4:20 p.m. on St. Lawrence River. Coast Guard reported incident took place on Canadian side.

• Francis Baker IV was arrested on a bench warrant on Jay Street at 7:58 a.m. He was ordered held without bail. No other details were provided.

• Report of subject using power tools on Deviller Street at 12:13 .m. Police spoke with resident and advised them to cease that activity until morning.
