Ogdensburg police blotter Aug. 16
OGDENSBURG – City police investigated two accidents Friday issuing tickets to one driver, and ticketed other drivers, and investigated a pile of stone in the road.
Police responded to reports of a pile of stone in the roadway on State Rt. 37 at 7:53 a.m. They confirmed the report and notified DPW.They responded to a two-vehicle accident at 7:56 a.m. in the 700 block of Main Street. Maple City was called to tow a grey 2001 Ford four-door, and Rishe’s was contacted to tow a parked a blue 2011 Chevrolet four-door. No charges were reported.
In the 500 block of Canton Street, police were called at 8:15 a.m. to investigate a camper blocking the sidewalk. Joshua J. King was issued a parking summons.
Richard L. Parmeter was issued a ticket for alleged unsafe backing after police were called at 12:08 p.m. to investigate a report of a two-vehicle accident. The vehicles involved were a red 2000 Dodge pickup and a 2018 maroon Chevrolet pickup.
At 8:20 p.m., police issued tickets to Tanner L. Charleton charging him with speeding and failure to use designated lane on the Downtown Arterial.
