Hermon man arrested for DWI after property damage accident on Jefferson Street

HERMON — James A. Race, 52, of Hermon, was arrested by state police after a property damage accident at 105 Jefferson St., for driving while intoxicated and other charges March 23 at 4:37 p.m.

Race was also charged with operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol level of .08 of 1 percent, and moving from a lane unsafely.

He was ticketed, released and is scheduled to appear in town court at a later date.

The investigation is still pending.
