CANTON – St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies charged Joshua Henderson, 32, of 228 Trippany Rd., with second-degree criminal contempt at the county jail on Sept. 13.

A press release from the sheriff’s department said the charge follows an investigation of an Aug. 18 complaint by the county district attorney’s office. The sheriff’s department said that Henderson was making numerous calls to a female victim who had a county court “no contact” order of protection against him.

Henderson was arraigned in Pierrepont town court before Judge Filiatrault and released under the supervision of the probabtion department.

He is to appear in town court at a later date.
