DEKALB — A DeKalb man was charged with petit larceny Monday following an investigation over the sale of half a beef cattle, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Robert J. Bell, 46, was cited for the above charge following an incident that took place Oct. 9, deputies said.
Bell allegedly agreed to sell half of a beef cattle for an agreed upon amount but he failed to provide the beef and did not return the deposit made on the meat, deputies say.
Bell was cited and released on an appearance ticket.
