Stewart’s Holiday Match Program helps Norfolk Raymondville Food Pantry

Posted

The Norfolk Raymondville Food Pantry would like to thank the Stewart’s Holiday Match Program for its generous $800 donation. We would especially like to thank the employees and customers of Stewart’s Shops. One half of the donation received from this program came from Stewart’s customers; perhaps you were one of them.

Using these funds, we are able to purchase food from the Food Bank of Central New York, specifically meats, fresh fruits and vegetables, canned goods, cereals and breads, dairy products and peanut butter, as well as dry goods (pancake mix, pasta, and rice).

The Norfolk-Raymondville Food Pantry is a five-day pantry, providing 15 meals per family member on our distribution days (the third Saturday of each month, 9-11 a.m.). We are also available for emergency food calls, making arrangements to meet at a mutually convenient time. Our pantry exists solely due to the generosity of our donors, and the grants received. It is housed in the Norfolk United Methodist Church.

To assist others with learning about the contributions program of the Stewart’s Holiday Match, the following link is provided: www.stewartsshops.com/community-giving. Again, the volunteers and clients of the Norfolk-Raymondville Food Pantry gratefully acknowledge this generous gift.
