To the Editor:
On Sept. 18 under a beautiful sunny sky, Potsdam Central Teachers’ Association sponsored a golf tournament at the Potsdam Country Club. Eleven teams participated in this tournament to raise money for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer campaign.
A total of $1,454 was raised toward this worthy cause.
I would like to thank the many local businesses that sponsored a hole or donated prizes. One local business, Chip’s Place of Hannawa Falls, put in a team to participate.
Additionally, I would like to extend a special thank you to Jamie Steinrotter, Evre Veress, and all of the Potsdam Country Club’s staff for a great tournament and dinner.
Thank you again for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
