In response to voters approving a 2.99% tax increase for the Potsdam library: 211 to 30 votes is anything but overwhelming, unless its the fact that only 241 voters turned out to vote.

Or was it that not too many more than 241 potential voters knew to turn out for the vote? At least with the school vote, I get the notifications the day after the vote was taken.

In the end, not much difference. I am not complaining about the outcome of the vote, just the way interested parties find these things out after it’s too late to use their right to vote.
