In this crisis allow me to share my comments about our "fear", with regards to coronavirus. Fear seems to grip most nations of the world.
God plans ahead of our life. All we've to do as He asked us, to follow the "narrow road" like His road to Calvary for as He said your reward is great in Heaven. Not the "wide road" of darkness.
I mean with the coronavirus: some churches are closed, no communion by hand, people in the USA are 'forced' to stay home esp the elderly like me. This appears to all faiths from Moses to Pope Francis.
It's harvest time for old wolves, I mean for old folks like me. Now that people are generally confined at homes we are attending our Sunday Mass at the EWTN. "An ounce of prevention is better than a cure."
While years back I saw no purpose attending Mass at EWTN, now I realize since people are confined at homes EWTN was/is indeed God's plan for Catholics - no excuse not to attend Mass esp Sunday.
Catholics now are staying homes should recite the Rosary & attend Mass at EWTN. Not to brag but to encourage people to recite the rosary, humbly I do a lot of rosaries daily not one for myself but 80% in reparation for those who attack Mama Mary; for those who give up their devotion to Mama Mary or ignore her, the Mediatric of all graces!
So for coronavirus, fear not but pray as our Lord to the Apostles when he appeared before them after his resurrection, "Fear not it is I."
Fear is a feeling that fills an empty heart that otherwise one should say, "Jesus, I trust in thee."
