Opinion: Richville man supports Moses for St. Lawrence County Farm Court Judge

To the Editor:

I am writing this letter to the people of St. Lawrence County as a concerned citizen because of the misrepresentation of character by Andrew Moses’ opponent Mr. Alexander Lesyk, in the race for Family Court Judge. I met Mr. Moses first during a child support matter concerning my daughter several years ago . He was approachable and worked with me to resolve a very difficult matter, as it is in any family court case. I felt that Mr. Moses was not only fair but also truly had my daughter’s best interests at heart. Approximately three years later while pursuing my RN in Nursing, I was reacquainted with Mr. Moses. He was auditing a class that I was attending.

During this time we became personal friends. I am always struck by Andrew’s honesty and integrity. It is my opinion that he will bring a sense of fairness and justice to the position of Family Court Judge. He is a family man and resident of Canton. He has served this community in many capacities for many years. I felt as a registered voter and farm owner in St. Lawrence County and family man myself it was my obligation to contradict some of the comments his opponent has made to smear his name professionally and his character personally . These comments are just not accurate and have no validity. On November second I will be proudly casting my vote for Andrew Moses for Family Court Judge.
