The problem of the hundreds of unclean and undernourished immigrant children in the Texas detention centers was broadcast last weekend on June 21, and since then there has been a nationwide outcry against the abuse.
Consequently, the US Senate passed an emergency funding bill to provide better services at federal border stations.
For the time being at least, things seem to be improving.
We Americans can often get positive results if enough of us speak out against negative situations.
