To the Editor:
A few years ago at Hannaford food store my wife and I witnessed a young lady pull into a handicap parking space. We mentioned how people don’t seem to care about taking these reserved parking spaces.
After observing the young lady open her vehicle door, turning around on her seat and remove a wheelchair from behind the seat, we mentioned how fortunate we were and how you cannot tell when people need these handicap parking spaces.
A few years later my wife became a person that needed the reserved space due to neuropathy. Please respect and save the handicap spaces for the handicap. Thank you.
