On April 25 while I was checking out of Save-A-Lot in Potsdam, a young lady came up to me and asked if I was a veteran. I had a cap with a Army emblem. I said yes, and at this time she said thank you for my service, and wanted to pay for my groceries. I thanked her, told her my name and showed my VA card.
I just wish I could remember her name. If she reads this: I thank you again and thank you to your daughter for her service in the Marines.
