A newly-elected legislator thanked the recently reappointed county administrator for her help in instructing new legislators in their duties.
Since the county administrator was reappointed by the county legislators and reports to them, isn't it strange that she should be instructing them in their duties.
Also, shouldn't a county legislator know what is expected at the time of election?
I wonder how the voters feel about electing a county legislator who does not know what is expected of her.
