Opinion: Consider paying lunch debt for local students, Hopkinton woman says

I have been thinking…people have asked me what they can do for their communities. I have thought of food pantries, fire departments and churches.

Another good idea is schools lunch programs.

Some children have free lunches, but others have to pay and are unable.

If you are looking for a good cause; check with your local schools about their lunch programs.

Perhaps you can donate funds for the negative balances. This could ensure children couldstill have the full lunch.

As a director of the Hopkinton Food Pantry, this is important to me. Too many children

go hungry.

Please consider this.
