To the Editor:
The members of the Parishville Ladies’ Aide Society would like to thank the following groups for their support and donations towards the annual Christmas baskets given to residents in the area.
Parishville Fire Department Ladies’ Auxiliary, Students and Staff of the Parishville-Hopkinton Central School, Amvets Post 265, Amvets Ladies’ Auxiliary Post 265, Sons of the Amvets Post 265, Amber Lodge 395, B.P.O. Elks Lodge 2074 and Evan and Connie Harper.
With the generous donations of baked goods, food and money, the LAS was able to provide baskets to a total of 284 individuals including those in nursing homes, Senior Citizens and many families in the area. In addition to the 168 baskets that were distributed to families, three boxes of canned goods were also donated to the Hopkinton Food Pantry. The Ladies’ Aide appreciates the generosity and thoughtfulness of the above mentioned groups to help make the holiday season a little nicer for many people.
