A flood watch is in effect until 7 p.m. and an ice storm warning remains in effect through 1 p.m. in St. Lawrence County, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
Snow showers and sleet are likely this morning, which will turn to snow later this morning, forecasters say. Tonight expect a low of 13 with a 20% chance of snow.
Rises on area waterways will continue and keep a threat of flooding going across much of the North Country, NWS says.
The low pressure system responsible for this weather will move east of the area later this morning and steadier precipitation will move east of the region with some lingering snow
showers expected this afternoon into this evening, the service says.

A 50 percent chance of snow showers after 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 36. East wind around 6 mph. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

A 50 percent chance of snow showers before 1am. Cloudy, with a low around 28. South wind 6 to 9 mph becoming southwest after midnight.
