To the Editor:

On behalf of the Women Of Grace Widows’ Fund and the Canton First Presbyterian Church, I would like to thank the people who made our first Cabin Fever Coffee and Dessert Night a great success.

Thanks to our bakers who made delectable desserts for sharing and raffle and to the individuals and businesses who donated items for the gift baskets: Beth Carrier of Red Button Bakery, Anastasia Hull of Anastasia’s Bakery, Nancey Brackett of The Corner Studio, Glow Spa, The Thursday Morning Playgroup and Bible Study, Canton Mayor Mary Ann Ashley, Ellen Rocco, Steve Maiocco, Peter Beckstead, Patricia Washburn, Linda Fay, David Bannach, Ann Marie Halstead, Coreen Bohl, Marianne DiMarco-Temkin, Rainbow Crabtree, Wanda Renick, Kathy Phillips, Raelene & Debbie McLain, Mary Margaret Small, Karen Parker, Linzie Adair and Brooke James Rouse.

Special thanks to all the people who came to socialize, enjoy the music of Matt Bullwinkel and purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win.

By the end of the night, $1,084 was raised to support our continued mission work of assisting widows and orphans in Malawi, Africa.

We are truly grateful for the generosity of the Canton community.
