Abandoned kitten brings joy to Potsdam couple

To the heartless one:

You undoubtedly thought you were throwing a sick, bound to die, kitten in our ditch. After all, it was only nine (9) inches long including the tail and yes, it was just a cat.

If it hadn’t been for the serviceman who was kind enough to stop and inform us that a kitten was in the road, we would never have found him.

His eyes were stuck together and he was shivering. Thank goodness he spotted him as he would certainly not have made it through the cold night.

What kind of human being could throw something like this into a ditch and leave it to die? I would like to meet you.

On the lighter side, my wife and I agreed several months ago that we would not have any more pets after ours passed on.

After picking him up and bringing him inside to clean and feed him, we both knew he would remain living with us.

The joy he has brought to our house in the last month is immeasurable.

We hope that you think about what you did for a long time, and if the big gate doesn’t open for you when your time comes, think back to that poor defenseless kitten and how you left it to die.

We will have a Merry Christmas – how about you? May you get coal in your stocking for your remaining years.
