United Helpers therapy team welcomes new staffer

OGDENSBURG – Canton native Amy W. Jo is being welcomed back to United Helpers as Assistant Director of Rehabilitative Services.

Jo, with a master’s degree in physical therapy, had been with Canton-Potsdam Hospital. She is providing and coordinating therapy services to residents at the United Helpers' Ogdensburg Campus

She is also a certified athletic trainer and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.

"Amy Jo brings a strong background in long-term care rehabilitation, as a well as sports medicine and out-patient physical therapy services to United Helpers," said Terry Micelli, director of rehabilitative services. "We are very pleased that she has returned to our team."

United Helpers offers rehabilitative services at their two, new Rehabilitation Suites located at the United Helpers Ogdensburg campus and at Maplewood Campus in Canton. Out-patient physical therapy services are also offered at Maplewood. To schedule an appointment for therapy, please call 393-3074 ext 219.
