Rogers began working for Canton-Potsdam Hospital in the Emergency Department, where she has served in the role of charge and staff registered nurse, and clinical coordinator.
“I have had varying positions within the hospital over the years. I love the community, and the culture of Canton-Potsdam Hospital,” she said. “I am excited about where St. Lawrence Health System is going, and am proud to be part of it.”
Rogers earned her family nurse practitioner master of science degree from Upstate Medical University, Syracuse. She has dual national certification in adult emergency nursing and pediatric emergency medicine. She is also certified in basic life support, advanced cardiopulmonary life support, trauma nursing core curriculum, emergency pediatric curriculum, trauma care after resuscitation, pediatric advanced life support, and perinatal/neonatal advanced life support.
Hospitalists are specialists in the care of hospitalized patients. As a member of the care team, they coordinate acute-level care with primary care practitioners, case managers, allied health members, and specialists.
