CANTON -- Cornell Cooperative Extension Association of St. Lawrence County honored St. Lawrence County Social Services Commissioner Chris Rediehs at their recent annual dinner.

Rediehs was recognized for his unwavering support of the association’s Nutrition Education Programs. The partnership that Commissioner Rediehs created with Extension has enabled it to surpass its annual goals in serving SNAP-eligible families with nutrition and healthy lifestyles education.

Friend of Extension awards are given to key partners whose work helps to enhance and expand the organization’s mission in serving the residents of St. Lawrence County.
