He is in the BOCES Metalworking Technologies Program, taught by Jon Hughes.

“Ethyn started out strong in his junior year when he built a Push-Pull Machine for St. Lawrence County Fire. He is an independent worker who seeks help when needed. Ethyn passed the New York State Structural Welding Test AKA Bridge Test. Ethyn always participates in projects not only in the shop but also for the National Honor Society,” Hughes said in a news release from the chamber.

He is on the Morristown Track Team and the Morristown Fire Department.

He is the president of the BOCES Honor Society and he served on the Committee for the Dissolution of the Village.

He would like to continue in the welding and heavy equipment operation field in his future career. He plans to continue being active in the Morristown Fire Department.
