OGDNESBURG -- DeAnna Fennessy, an eighth grader at Ogdensburg Free Academy was recently selected as a February student of the month by the Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce.
She was nominated by her teachers who said, “DeAnna is an 8th grade student on the high honor roll. She is a standing member of the Jr. National Honor Society, as well as a WEB Leader (Where Everyone Belongs). She participates in the Builder’s Club, is on the track team, and looking forward to playing lacrosse this spring. DeAnna strives to do her best and always asks questions politely if she needs clarification. She is very punctual and conscientious of her grades. She is a kind and quiet young lady. She is a joy to have in class.”
DeAnna received a certificate from OFA, a “Chamber Dollars” check sponsored by Ed-Med Federal Credit Union and a plaque from the Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce.
