S.N. Nyeck, assistant professor of political science at Clarkson University, will deliver two lectures in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands on government outsourcing in Africa.
The lectures, titled “Government Outsourcing in Africa: An Exploration of the Politics-Law-Business Nexus,” are based on Nyeck’s recently completed book manuscript on public procurement reform in Africa with collaborators from Nigeria, South Africa, Botswana, Uganda, Kenya, and Ethiopia.
She will speak in Christiansted and Frederiksted. The event is partly sponsored by the local business community and scholars in St. Croix.
