POTSDAM -- The Canton-Potsdam Hospital Guild recently awarded $2,000 to four current Canton-Potsdam Hospital employees who are working on furthering their education.
The 2018 Guild Continuing Education Award recipients are Kelly Jo Dugan, Savannah Hays, Kate Rowe, and Bridget TeRiele. They each received a scholarship to help pay for their college tuition.
Dugan is employed in Information Systems and is working on her Graduate Level Certificate for Cyber Security. Hays works at Urgent Care and is looking to get her Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) degree. Rowe works at the Endocrinology practice and is enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at SUNY Canton. TeRiele is employed at the Center for Cancer Care and is looking to complete her BSN degree.
The four recipients were selected from among a large number of employee applicants by the Canton-Potsdam Hospital Guild's Continuing Education Awards/Scholarship Committee.
These awards bring the Potsdam Guild’s total contribution to the Hospital for the 2018 calendar year to over $68,000.
