St. Lawrence County residents headed to the polls today, starting at 6 a.m. Here Elaina Smith signs in to vote with election inspector Mike Doyle, using a new tablet instead of the old paper books, in Potsdam. “The tablets are designed to cut down on paperwork for election inspectors,” said inspector Laurell Brault. Voters are electing village and town officials, as well as a new county clerk. In Massena, voters are being asked to approve the sale of the Massena Memorial Hospital.
