OGDENSBURG -- Round up your family and friends for Fred’s 7th Annual Wild Wild West BBQ at the Frederic Remington Art Museum on Sunday, July 21 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. or until sold out.

The museum will be open extended hours for the event, opening early at 10 AM.

Fred's Wild West BBQ will be catered by Parker Piercy, of PCP-BBQ Catering. Cost is $15 adults and $5 kids under 13. Each ticket purchased includes a meal, non-alcoholic beverage; live entertainment and Museum admission. The menu includes pulled pork, chicken, salt potatoes, corn on the cob, macaroni salad, watermelon, and assorted Lipton Teas. Meals can be eaten on site under a lawn tent provided by Fox & Murray Funeral Home or as take-out.

Music entertainment will be provided by Gary Walts - Heavy Mellow Guitar from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Self-guided tours and a scavenger hunt, courtesy of the Ogdensburg Garden Club, Inc., will be available at The Eva Caten Remington Education Center. Lena The Lizard Lady will offer a live reptile show on the lawn, including the opportunity to purchase photographs with her reptile friends.

Fred's Wild Wild West BBQ is generously sponsored by Lipton Teas. All proceeds benefit the Frederic Remington Art Museum.

Staff will be available in the lobby to take new or renew museum memberships. The Spring membership drive culminates on July 24 with this new annual party at the museum which will be held from 5-7 p.m.

It is open to members and donors at $35 per person, and their guests at $40. The hors d’oeuvre reception, which includes wine and beer, will be catered by the Grand View.
