Winterfest sled races
CANTON: 3rd annual Canton Cardboard Sled Races at SUNY Canton Sledding Hill (near Parking Lot 1), 10 a.m.-12 p.m.; Canton Winterfest event; presented by Nature Up North; approved materials include: cardboard, duct tape, recycled plastic bags, paint, glue; teams or individuals are invited to enter, and each sled must carry one team member; registration and sled judging will run from 10-10:30 a.m., races begin at 10:30; divisions include youth (12 and under), open (13 and up), family (multi-ages) and college; sleds will be judged overall for special categories and by division for fastest time; register in advance at [email protected] with your team name, participant names and ages, and division; info: www.natureupnorth.org/events.
