POTSDAM: NCPR is set to present "An Evening with Korva Coleman" featuring the NPR journalist, hosted by Todd Moe, 6 p.m., Eben Holden Center at St. Lawrence University, cocktails and dinner; tickets are $50; jessica@ncpr.org.

Hotdog fundraiser

CANTON: Coakley’s Home and Hardware, 25 35 State Hightway 68, will host fundraiser for the Canton Fire Department during Fire Prevention Month, Canton Fire Department will grill hot dogs from 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m.

Variety show

NORWOOD: Kiwanis Variety Show 2019, Norwood-Norfolk Central School auditorium, Rt. 56; 25 student acts of singing, dancing, comedy, drawing, mimes, piano, guitar, Tai Kwon Do, & hockey techniques; music from Don LaBarge, and Donny Woodcock; $7 adults; $5 students

Opioid task force meets
