Cardiopulmonary screening

POTSDAM: Clarkson University’s Occupational Therapy Students, in conjunction with Canton-Potsdam Hospital, hosting free cardiopulmonary vital signs screenings, and education on heart and lung health, 1-4 p.m., Canton-Potsdam Hospital, Conference Rooms A&B, 50 Leroy St.; will be simple questionnaires to assist in determining personal fatigue levels and establishing a healthy lifestyle; open to the public, requires no pre-scheduling; info: Brittany DiSalvo, bdisalvo@clarkson.edu, 315-869-8155.

Yukon River presentation

CANTON: St. Lawrence Land Trust 5th Annual State of the River Talk, 7 p.m., presented by Grasse River Heritage and Nature Up North; topic: “North Country Rivers Provide Training Grounds for Yukon River Race” with presenter Dr. Eileen Visser, St. Lawrence University; talk to be held in the Grasse River Heritage Room, 30 Court St.; free, open to the public.

Seniors meet
