POTSDAM: Children will be introduced to Korean culture through fun activities of performing Korean percussion instruments and playing traditional Korean folk music, Dung Duk Kung, the unique sounds of thunderous Korean drum beats at the North Country Children’s Museum, 10 Raymond St.; will also learn traditional rhythmic patterns (Jangdan), and basic techniques to play different percussion types; special guest musician, In-Sill Yoo, of St. Lawrence University, will lead this workshop; free with admission or membership; 11 a.m.-noon; www.northcountrychildrensmuseum.org/events.
