Paint the ice

POTSDAM: “Paint the ice” event at Pine Street Arena to give one more chance to get out on the ice before it melts with end of season; 3-7 p.m.; paint pictures or messages on ice for $2 per person, under 5 free; paint and brushes provided, but may bring your own; no skates allowed; space on ice available at first come first serve basis; more info: 315-265-4030.

Opioid documentary

CANTON: “Chasing the Dragon” documentary screening and panel discussion, 7-9 p.m., Gulick Theatre, St. Lawrence Campus; focusing on opioid awareness and prevention featuring a panel of professionals and people personally affected by opioids.

Book battle meeting

CANTON: Canton Free Library Pre-Battle meeting; participating teams are invited to the final meeting before the April Battle of the Books at the Canton Middle School Library at 2:40 p.m.; we’ll check in with the teams and answer any last questions; teams will be paired up and given a chance to answer sample questions to be used at the Battle; for more info: call 315-386-3712 ext 4, or email vwhite@ncls.org

Grief Adventure Group
