MASSENA: Community conversation on Alzheimer’s and dementia; learn what Alzheimer’s is, signs, and difference between dementia and Alzheimer’s; after presentation by Alzheimer’s Association representatives, time for questions and discussions; 6:30 p.m.at Massena Public Library screening room.

YAP anniversary

CANTON: St. Lawrence County Youth Advocate Programs 20th anniversary celebration, 2-6 p.m., presentations start at 3:30 p.m., 3 Remington Ave.; open to individuals and families served by YAP over the past two decades and their friends; informal reception with light refreshments will include presentations recognizing young people and families served by YAP as well as the organization’s partner agencies and community organizations, area businesses, and others who have worked with YAP; www.yapinc.org.

Roller Girl book club

OGDENSBURG: Family Book Club June book: “Roller Girl” by Victoria Jamieson; make a T-shirt and come up with a roller derby name; 5 p.m. Ogdensburg Public Library.

Wild flower walk

Roll for Initiative D&D

MASSENA: On Thursdays 6/27-8/1, join live action role play game of Dungeons and Dragons to create your own character, play in a new world, earn treasure and have fun with friends; for ages 10 and up; 5-7 p.m; registration required; Massena Public Library.
