Ice Show in Canton

CANTON: St. Lawrence Figure Skating Club ice show “Dancing with the Stars” Saturday, March 16; 3:00 p.m; Appleton Arena, 130 Miner St. Rd. Performances by skating club members and local synchronized skating groups. Tickets $6 adults, $5 students and seniors.

The Commitments movie

MASSENA: Come celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a free 1991 Irish film, “The Commitments,” musical comedy-drama showing 1 p.m.; Massena Public Library; set in Dublin, the film tells story of Jimmy Rabbitte, a young music fanatic who assembles a group of working-class youths to form a soul band named “The Commitments.” For more info: massenapubliclibrary.org.

Main St.; all clients should bring boxes, bags, totes to carry home food; new clients need to have names and ages of all family members residing in household; pantry is self-certifying, so it doesn't require proof of income; 15 meals per person at each distribution; call 315-212-0520 for emergency food.
