Fleetwood Mac Mania

MASSENA: Fleetwood Mac Mania, Toronto based tribute band and bonfire; 6-9 p.m followed by fireworks; Massena Town Beach; part of Fishing League Worldwide Costa Series.

River Mohawks

Jazz, Wind Ensemble

POTSDAM: SUNY Potsdam's Crane School of Music hosting special concert with Crane Jazz Ensemble and Crane Wind Ensemble for Family Weekend 2019, 7:30 p.m., Helen M. Hosmer Concert Hall; conductor and Crane alumnus John O'Reilly '62 will conduct the Wind Ensemble; Tim Savage '84 & '96, will conduct the Jazz Ensemble; free, public invited.

Prison playwrights

POTSDAM: Department of Theatre and Dance at SUNY Potsdam will present the Playwriting Across Prison Walls Play Festival, a staged reading of five short plays by playwrights incarcerated at Riverview Correctional Facility in Ogdensburg, 7:30 p.m., Black Box Theater, located in the College's Performing Arts Center; in addition to the performance at SUNY Potsdam, there will be a staged reading at Riverview Correctional Facility in late September; free, 45 minute run time; talk-back will follow performance; 315-267-2556.
